Greater Noida (bharat Bhushan) G.D. Goenka Public School, Greater Noida, hosted the District Sub Junior Inter School Basketball Championship from Thursday, 9th May to 11th May, 2019. A total of 24 teams participated in this Championship and there were 12 teams in the 'Boys Category' and 12 teams in the 'Girls Category'. Schools from Noida and Greater Noida participated. All the details for the Championship were taken care of by the Head of Sports Department, Ms. Indu Vashishta.
In the 'Boys Category' the First Position was won by Greater Valley School, Greater Noida, Second Position was won by G.D. Goenka Public School, Greater Noida, and the Third Position was won by The Khaitan School, Noida, and Father Agnel School, Noida. In the 'Girls Category' First Position was won by Mayur School, Noida, Second Position by Ryan School, Noida, Third Position was won by D.P.S., N.T.P.C., Dadri. Principal, Dr. Renu Sehgal, praised the sporty spirit of the young players and the guidance given by all the coaches and cheered for all the winners.
